The 2025 Grey Cup takes place this Sunday evening at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg. The Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders were able to win close games in their respective Divisional Finals over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and BC Lions, respectively, to book their ticket to the 112th Grey Cup.
This years Grey Cup will kick-off on Sunday, November 16th at 6pm EST, and will be broadcast nationwide on CTV, TSN, and RDS.
The Roughriders are the Grey Cup favourites after finishing the season atop the West Division standings with a 12-6 record. This will be the Roughriders first appearance in a Grey Cup since winning the 101st Grey Cup on their home field back in 2013. The Roughriders stumbled to a 2-4 record in their final six games, so there are some question marks about the teams current level. On the flip side, the Alouettes are 7-1 in their last 8 games (including two playoff wins) and they could be peaking at the right time to win the Grey Cup after a 5-7 start to the season.

As you can see the Roughriders are 3.5 point favourites heading into the Finals. The Roughriders had a terrific season starting 10-2, but as I mentioned above, they went 2-4 down the stretch and didn’t exactly prove they’re back to their A-game with their 24-21 win over the BC Lions in the West Division Finals.
The Alouettes finished the season going 5-1 down the stretch to secure a playoff spot, and continued their hot play defeating the Blue Bombers 42-33 in the Division semi-finals and then going into Hamilton to knock off the East Division leading Tiger-Cats in the Division finals 19-16.

I like the Alouettes to use their momentum to win this game outright.
