How To Bet On The 2021 Grey Cup in Canada

By Football

The 2021 Grey Cup Finals is set.  The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers were able to complete their comebacks in the Divisional Finals with wins over the Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders, respectively, to book their ticket to the Grey Cup.

This years Grey Cup will take place this Sunday, December 12th at 6pm EST, at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario. The game will be a rematch of the most recent 2019 Grey Cup Finals, which the Blue Bombers won 33-12 in Calgary.

The Blue Bombers are the Grey Cup favourites after finishing the season with an 11-3 record. That said, you would have to go back to 2010 to find the last time a team from the Grey Cup hosts division did not win the Finals, so home field advantage could play a big factor for the Ti-Cats on Sunday.

I’m expecting plenty of new bettors looking to get action on the 2021 Grey Cup.  For this reason I added this article to outline where you should bet on the Grey Cup, look at the current odds for the game and provide a 3 step guide you can follow to get your bets placed on the game from Canada.

Here are the current Grey Cup odds from SportsInteraction.com, our top rated betting site:

As you can see the Blue Bombers are fairly significant 4 point favourites heading into the Finals. Considering the trend I outlined above about the host division winning the every Grey Cup game dating back to 2010, the 2.42 odds on the Ti-Cats to win is looking tempting.

The odds above were taken on December 9th, a few days before the Grey Cup, so they could still change as we approach Sunday.

You can see the up to date odds at SportsInteraction.com yourself by opening the ‘Football’ drop down menu and selecting ‘CFL Games’ in the SIA Sportsbook.  There are also a wide variety of prop bets you can make on the game. I like the Ti-Cats to pull off the upset and win this years Grey Cup. Home field advantage is huge in the CFL and the host division has won the last 9 Grey Cup Finals.
