It’s game day! The 2023 Grey Cup Finals take place this evening. The Montreal Alouettes and Winnipeg Blue Bombers were able to build leads early and extend them in the second half to win their respective Divisional Finals over the Toronto Argonauts and BC Lions, respectively, to book their ticket to the 110th Grey Cup.
This years Grey Cup will take place tonight (Sunday, November 19th) at 6pm EST, at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario.
The Blue Bombers are the Grey Cup favourites after finishing the season atop the West Division standings with an 14-4 record. The Blue Bombers have played in the last three Grey Cup’s (winning in 2020 and 2021), so a victory on Sunday would help cement this group as a modern day CFL dynasty.

I like the Alouettes to keep this game close. The Alouettes have been playing great football winning their last 7 games including knocking off the 16-2 Toronto Argos with a convincing 38-17 win on the road. Add in the fact that historically the team playing closer to home has performed better in the Grey Cup and I think the spread is too wide for this game. I’ll be taking the Alouettes plus the points as my main play and also have a bit on the Montreal money line.
