The Rose Bowl (wiki site) is the oldest and often considered the most prestigious of the Bowl Games. This year, the game is one of the College Football Playoff quarterfinals, featuring the #1 Indiana Hoosiers vs the #9 Alabama Crimson Tide.

Alabama (11-3) lost to Georgia in the SEC Championship game, but bounced back with a 34-24 win over Oklahoma in the first round of the College Football Playoffs.
