Tyson Fury will return to the ring this Saturday, April 23rd to defend his WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles vs countryman, Dillian Whyte, at Wembley Stadium in London.
Fury won his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder last October via an 11th round knockout. The fight was an instant classic and helped to solidify Fury’s place as the best heavyweight boxer in the world. Fury had tried to set up a unification bout with Oleksandr Usky, who won the other heavyweight belts from Anthony Joshua in September, but Joshua chose to invoke his rematch clause with Usyk.

Whyte was able to avenge this defeat in an immediate rematch, defeating Povetkin via 4th round TKO in March of 2021 to once again be the mandatory challenger for the WBC belt, which eventually earned him this fight with Tyson Fury.
