Archivist, at 7.50, is a fast-improving four-year-old who won the Strensall Stakes at York by seven and a half lengths in August, and trainer Hamad Al-Jehani has a strong recent Woodbine record, having taken the 2025 Canadian International. He makes plenty of appeal as an each-way play in a race where the top two are short. Home-track hope Gas Me Up, from leading Woodbine trainer Kevin Attard, is a 12.00 flier, with Irish Aces, Silius and Pierre all at 17.00 and Itsastormymonday the outsider at 34.00.
