The Masters is the most prestigious golf tournament of the year. There are four majors on the PGA Tour, but if you asked any player I suspect they would tell you The Masters is the tournament they would most want to win. The 2022 Masters are set to take place this week at August National Golf Course in Georgia, with round 1 taking place on Thursday, April 7th and the tournament concluding with the fourth round on Sunday, April 10th. There is speculation that Tiger Woods could be in the field, and if that happens the 2022 Masters Tournament will receive even more major media coverage that normal.
The Masters is the only major that takes place at the same course every year and because of this you have a ton of information from which to pick what players you think will succeed and make some winning bets.
On this page I will look at the current outright winner odds for the Masters, recommend a betting site for Canadians and give a quick 3 step guide to help you get your bets in on The Masters this year.

SportsInteraction.com is our top rated sportsbook for Canadians. I will be using the odds from SIA for the Masters odds/picks below.
Tournament Winner Odds
**These odds from SportsInteraction.com are from April 3rd.
Jon Rahm is the favourite heading into the tournament. He has finished top 10 at The Masters for four straight years, with his best finish being 4th place back in 2018. Rahm won the 2021 US Open to get the Major Tournament win monkey off his back, so that confidence could transfer to a Masters win.
As you can see from the above odds, Rahm isn’t a significant favourite, and there are several golfers who are seen as contenders to win the tournament. Big name players such as Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Brooks Koepka are all playing quality golf. It will come down to what player is able to make birdies and limit mistakes around Augusta over the course of the tournament.
My favourite play this week is Dustin Johnson. He’s still playing great golf. He won the tournament a year and a half ago in November of 2020. He has the game for the course.
You can also bet on a wide range of other Masters props such as head to head match-ups, group betting, over/under on scores, and more at Sports Interaction.
Here’s an example where you could bet on the best finisher of Group A, which included the five tournament favourites:
