How To Bet On The 2023 Masters From Canada

By Golf

The Masters is the most prestigious golf tournament of the year.  There are four majors on the PGA Tour, but if you asked any player I suspect they would tell you The Masters is the tournament they would most want to win.  The 2023 Masters are set to take place this week at August National Golf Course in Georgia, with round 1 taking place on Thursday, April 6th and the tournament concluding with the fourth round on Sunday, April 9th. Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy are the three favourites heading into the tournament.

The Masters is the only major that takes place at the same course every year and because of this you have a ton of information from which to pick what players you think will succeed.

On this page I will look at the current outright winner odds for the Masters, recommend a betting site for Canadians and give a quick 3 step guide to help you get your bets in on The Masters this year.

Tournament Winner Odds

**These odds from SportsInteraction.com are from April 4th.

Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are the co-favourites heading into the tournament with odds of 7-1, while Jon Rahm is right there as well with odds of 9-1.

Scheffler is the #1 ranked golfer in the world and he’s the defending champion having won The Masters in 2022. Rory is ranked #2 in the world (Rahm is ranked #3) and he finished second in last years Masters Tournament. McIlroy has not won a major since 2014 and The Masters is the only major he’s yet to win, so he will be looking to get the monkey off his back at Augusta this weekend. Jon Rahm is the #3 ranked player in the world and he finished top 10 at The Masters for four straight years between 2018 and 2021 before finishing T27 last year.

It will come down to what player is able to make birdies and limit mistakes around Augusta over the course of the tournament.

My favourite play this week is Brooks Koepka. He’s won the LIV Golf Invitational in Orlando the weekend before The Masters and he has the ability to take his game to another level when playing in majors. He’s been in the news a little bit lately and I think he could have a chip on his shoulder to prove he’s still one of the best in the game.

You can also bet on a wide range of other Masters props such as head to head match-ups, group betting, over/under on scores, and more at Sports Interaction.

Here’s an example where you could bet on the best finisher of Group A, which included the five tournament favourites (screenshot taken April 4th):
