The 2022 Belmont Stakes will take place this Saturday, June 11th at Belmont Park in New York.
There will be no Triple Crown winner at this years Triple Crown. Rich Strike, the Kentucky Derby winner, chose to forgo his shot at the Triple Crown and skip the Preakness Stakes in order to focus on this Belmont Stakes race. That said, the Belmont Stakes is still one of the biggest races of the year and I expect plenty of betting action on race day.
The 2022 Belmont Stakes will be broadcast from 5-7pm EST on TSN here in Canada. The post time for the race is 6:44pm.
On this page you will find our top rated betting site for Canadians, the early betting odds for the race, and a simple 3 step guide to getting your Belmont Stakes bets placed online.

Belmont Stakes Winner Odds
Here’s a screenshot of the 2022 Belmont Stakes odds from SportsInteraction.com. These odds are from June 8th, the Wednesday before the race. The odds could change leading up to the race on June 11th. To see the up to date odds you should go to SIA and select ‘Horse Racing’ -> ‘Belmont Stakes’ in the left sidebar of the sportsbook.
**You can also wager on the race from the ‘Racebook’ section of the Sports Interaction website by selecting ‘Belmont Park’ under the ‘American Thoroughbred’ header.
Mo Donegal and We the People are the two favourites to win the race, both with odds of 3.50. Rich Strike, the Derby winner, is the third favourite with odds of 5.00. That said, there is a lot of unknowns surrounding many horses in this field, so we could be surprised on Belmont Stakes Day.

Race Winner (Fixed Odds)
You can bet on the Belmont Stakes winner at fixed odds in the ‘Sports’ section of the SIA website. Select ‘Horse Racing’ followed by ‘Belmont Stakes’ in the sportsbook to find the betting lines.
Select the odds of the horse you want to wager on, enter your stake amount on the Bet Slip, and click ‘Place Bet’ to make your wager. You also have the option add an each-way bet which would apply half of the wager to the horse finishing in the top 3 at 1/5 the “to win” odds.
