The Canadian Premier League is the top level of professional soccer in the Canadian soccer system. The league currently consists of 8 teams spread across the entire country (BC to Nova Scotia), with more clubs expected to join over the next several years.
On this page I will recommend a betting site for Canadians, look at the most common bets placed on CPL matches, and provide a simple 3 step guide you can follow to bet on the Canadian Premier League online.

Canadian Premier League Betting Options
There are a variety of bets you can make on each CPL match at SportsInteraction.com. The main two, which I will explain in detail below are the match result (money line) and the total (over/under). Other CPL bets you can make include draw no bet, asian handicap (spread), correct score, and more.
Match Result
The most common bet on a Canadian Premier League match is simply betting on the outcome. This type of bet is referred to as “match result” on SIA, but it can also be referred to as “1×2” or “to win”. A CPL match can have three outcomes: Team A to win, Draw, Team B to win. A match result bet is a wager on which of these three outcomes will occur.
In this example Pacific FC is the favourite with odds of 2.05 to win the game. This means that a $100 bet on Pacific FC would payout $205 (win $105) if they won the game. A draw is the second most likely outcome with odds of 3.35 ($100 bet pays out $335). Valour FC is the underdog. A $100 bet on Valour FC would payout $355.
Over/Under (Total)
The other popular bet is the over/under for total goals scored in the game. This is also sometimes referred to as ‘Asian Total’ on Sports Interaction.
In this example the over/under is set at 2.5 goals. A bet on the over would payout if 3 or more goals are scored by both teams in the match, while the under bet would payout if 2 or fewer goals are scored.
