The biggest all-British heavyweight fight in a generation is finally happening. Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua meet on Friday, December 11th at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with the vacant WBA heavyweight title on the line. All 80,000 tickets sold out in about an hour, and the fight will stream live on Netflix to members worldwide, including Canada, at no extra cost.
Boxing fans have waited the better part of a decade for this matchup. The two former unified champions came close to signing several times over the years, but negotiations repeatedly fell apart. Both fighters come in on two-fight winning streaks, and the bout was officially announced in September.
Tyson Fury is 38 years old and holds a 36-2-1 professional record with 25 wins by knockout. His only losses came in back-to-back decisions against Oleksandr Usyk in 2024. Fury returned in April with a one-sided unanimous decision over Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, then stopped Mariusz Wach in the seventh round in Thailand in July.
Anthony Joshua is 37 years old and holds a 30-4 record with 27 wins inside the distance. The two-time unified champion knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round in December 2025, then stopped Kristian Prenga in the second round in Jeddah in July. That win came with a scare, as Joshua was dropped twice in the opening round before rallying to finish Prenga.

Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua Betting Line
Here are the odds for the Fury vs Joshua fight from SportsInteraction.com (odds accurate as of October 26th):
Tyson Fury is the favourite at 1.50, indicating an implied probability of 66.7%. Anthony Joshua is the underdog at 2.50, implying a 40.0% chance that he wins the fight. The odds favour Fury’s size, reach and ring IQ, along with questions about Joshua’s durability after he was stopped by Daniel Dubois in 2024 and dropped twice by Prenga in July.
SIA also has method of victory odds available for the fight:
Fury by KO, TKO or DQ is the shortest price at 2.37, followed by Fury on points at 3.60. Joshua by KO, TKO or DQ is priced at 3.50, while Joshua on points is a long shot at 8.00. A tie pays 17.00.
Joshua has 27 knockouts in 30 wins, and his clearest path to victory is landing his right hand on Fury, who was knocked down multiple times by Deontay Wilder and once by Francis Ngannou. Bettors who like the underdog can get a better price by backing Joshua by KO, TKO or DQ at 3.50 instead of Joshua to win the fight at 2.50, since a points win for Joshua is the least likely of the four outcomes.
