The Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, are generally considered the highest honour available in the film industry. This year, the Oscars ceremony will be hosted for the second consecutive year by Conan O’Brien and will take place at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Best Picture Odds
I have only seen One Battle After Another, Sinners, and Bugonia, and I didn’t love any of the films, so I don’t have a great opinion about which film deserves to win Best Picture. The odds indicate One Battle After Another is the favourite to win Best Picture, while Sinners is the only other contender with a reasonable chance to win according to the odds. I have seen the odds differ at various sportsbooks, so I would suggest comparing odds between our recommended betting sites.
Best Actor Odds
Michael B. Jordan (Sinners) has overtaken Timothee Chalamet (Marty Supreme), who had odds of 1.20 a month ago, as the favourite to win the Best Actor Award at this years Oscars. Michael B. Jordan (1.53) won the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role at the Actor Awards to kick-off the month and now it’s anyone’s guess whether he or Golden Globe winner, Chalamet (2.55), will win the coveted Oscar this year.
Best Actress Odds
In contrast with the Best Actor award, the best Actress category seems to be locked up by Jessie Buckley (Hamnet). Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You) is her closest competition according to the betting odds.
